Family Photo

We all went to Schwetzingen Gardens to enjoy a Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful sunny day and we didn't have big plans to go out of town, so we tried a local venue. We walked around for about 3 hours enjoying the flowers, statues, and a short stop at the schloss (translation: castle) cafe. I had tea and orange torte while William enjoyed a German beer. There were a few locals, some Lord Mayors in their full official attire, a wedding party, and a few tourists. They are having some sort of festival there, but since we don't speak fluent German it is very hard to translate what is going on. At least we have some success on being in the right place at the right time to enjoy a few special events! :-)

Wedding Blessing & Reception!!!

Why? To celebrate the marriage of William & Lora Leigh

We would really love to see all of our friends and family this summer and have a formal Catholic wedding blessing and reception. Obviously we are running a bit behind on planning all this, but that is just how it goes with an active duty husband and reservist wife. Let's hope they don't come after me so quickly that I can't make this one! :-)
