The Secret Life of Bees
I have been reading "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd. It is an interesting fiction set in 1960s South Carolina. There is an interesting mix
of racial issues along with family trials and tribulations. I can't really relate to any of it, but it is a 13 year old girl's personal story which seems to be making her too old too quick. I am 100 plus pages through due to her personable nature and how she seems to be searching for answers to life questions, along with the eccentric bee keepers that have embraced her and her nanny during troubled times.
